Want to Help ?

There are a number of ways in which you can help the people Auties.Org promotes.

Make a Donation

All the technical and writing work put into creating, maintaining and updating this site is put in voluntarily. Even the hosting and domain name charges are paid for directly by Chris and Donna.

You can make a donation towards the running costs of Auties.org (for which we would be very grateful) which will go towards these costs. Thank you.

Visit the Auties.org Shop

You can support Auties.org by purchasing t-shirts, caps, badges and other items from our new online shop at CafePress.

Use The Website

If you have a job, or even just a task or occupational opportunity that someone on the autistic spectrum might be able to fill, look through our Autie-Spectrum Listings.

If you are looking for goods, skills and services then have a look at both our Autie-Spectrum Listings and Autie-Friendly Listings.

If you know of someone on the spectrum who is languishing in a lack of occupation who might be able to develop any kind of employable goods, skills or services then direct them to us and we'll try and list them.

Feel free to provide a link to www.auties.org on your website.

Tell People About Us

Letting people know about www.auties.org is a way of promoting awareness of ability within disABILITY and encouraging people in the community to explore the personhood and interests of those on the autistic-spectrum.

It's also a way to inspire families and professionals to think about how they can help people on the spectrum to expand interests and skills and find ways to market these where occupation and employment prospects might otherwise be limited.

Finally, by promoting both businesses run by those on the autistic-spectrum and autism-friendly businesses, you are promoting a more autism-friendly world and encouraging other businesses to consider how they might better adapt and join us.

Printing out one of our flyers or posters (below) and:

  • put it up in windows or notice boards within your local community
  • put it up at your local school
  • put it up at your local community centre or neighbourhood community house.
  • put it up at your library or local council office
  • give a copy to any families with people on the autistic spectrum and those people themselves.
  • give a copy to any autism-friendly businesses you know of and letting them know we'd love to hear from them.

If you've got any comments or suggestions then please contact us and let us know!
